Whiskey

Rich hues of saturated dark orange shine like polished copper highlighted with faint crimson reflections. It displays complex aromas of dried honey, caramel, orange peel (think orange jelly candy), coconut, and cinnamon-like spiciness all wrapped in woodsy notes of fresh oak shavings. This is a rich, full-bodied whiskey with warm notes of dusty wood, dried caramel, and faint orange peel. If there’s a drawback, it’s the faint lumbery sawdust quality that I’ve tasted in many start-up distilleries and may be attributed to the small barrels used to speed up the aging process. I suspect that as the distillery matures this will be less of an issue and my rating will rise.”
